Recommended Investment Amount Calculations
Our recommended investment amounts are based on a combination of three categories: 1) number of local employees, 2) company revenue, and 3) percentage of local customers. The rationale and point assignments for each category are as follows:
Number of Local Employees
>500 employees - 4 points
100-500 employees - 3 points
15 - 100 employees - 2 points
<15 employees - 1 point
Total Company Revenue
>$100 Million - 4 points
$10 - $100 Million - 3 points
$1 - $10 Million - 2 points
<$1 Million - 1 point
Percentage of Local Customers (within 5 miles of Morton)
>50% local customers - 2 points
<50% local customers - 1 point
Points for each of these three categories are multiplied together for a composite score. The composite score can then be used to determine the recommended investment amount based on the following table:
Composite Score - Recommended Investment
32 - $25,000 per year
24 - $20,000 per year
16 or 18 - $15,000 per year
9 or 12 - $10,000 per year
6 or 8 - $5,000 per year
4 - $2,000 per year
1-3 - $1,000 per year
