Trick or Treat Main Street and Fourth Fridays join forces to offer an activity-filled evening in Downtown Morton on October 27.

Morton, IL:  Friday, October 13 2017:  Trick or Treat Main Street and the Fourth Friday: Tazewell Art Loop program have joined forces this October to offer an activity filled evening for young and young at heart on Friday, October 27, 2017.

From 4:00 – 6:00 pm, kids and families are invited to show off their Halloween costumes and Trick or Treat businesses around Morton, IL.

At 5:00 pm, Fourth Friday activities will get started and run until 8:00 pm.  October activities will include a Cousin Eddy Acoustic set at Kemps 208, Ghost Rock Painting at Old School Arts, Music on porches and plazas, a FREE yoga class by Gold’s Gym of Morton, a Classic Car Show featuring the Central Illinois Cruisers, and so much more.

Evening participants are invited to start their evening at the Village parking lot on the corner of E. Jefferson and N. Third Street where the Midwest Foodbank will be collecting nonperishable, canned goods.  Those that bring canned food items will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Chamber Check!

Trick or Treat Main Street is a program for the local businesses too!  The best decorated business will receive a traveling trophy and a Chamber advertising package worth $500.  The best costumed employee will receive $50 in Chamber Checks.  All community businesses are invited to participate by registering, staying open late, handing out candy, and offering a special activity, menu or sale at the business.
