Startups, people with an idea, and anyone else launching businesses or projects out of homes and coffee shops are invited to join the Morton Economic Development Council for Coffee Connects starting on Wednesdays in October. Launching on Friday, January 25 and running through Friday, April 26 entrepreneurs can work alongside, seek advice from or meet with a representative from the Morton Economic Development Council at Elis’s Coffee Shop between 8:00 am – 10:00 am. We will be there and would welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
Our goals for these coffees are to meet entrepreneurs working to get their businesses off the ground and connect them to resources available to support their efforts.
If entrepreneurs are interested in connecting with us, they are welcome to come by! We intend for these meetings to be informal and fun. If there is a specific issue to discuss, entrepreneurs are invited to contact us in advance, let us know what they’d like to discuss and we can bring info and resources that pertain to the topic of discussion.
