Morton is ideally located less than 45 miles and under an hour's drive from 12 different Colleges and Universities, providing your company a robust workforce pool from which to draw.  These are students accustomed to this community and the chances of them staying for a job opportunity are significant.  As the EDC, we maintain relationships with the local schools in order to work collaboratively and help align their academic programs and graduating students with your workforce needs

Greater Peoria Talent Connection

Careerlink's mission is to connect and develop the workforce of Central Illinois.  They compile a database of unemployed workers as well as underemployed workers looking for permanent positions.  CareerLink also provides training opportunities for eligible program participants.  It is a great resource for companies with positions to fill.
